The Half Moon Inn at Newton upon Derwent is an 18th century pub with roaring fires, flickering candles, real ales and a warm welcome.

Owners Steve and Alexandra Footman took over the Half Moon in 2007 and have turned it into a traditional cosy ale house with good food, served in a relaxed and unstuffy style.

The Half Moon Inn is in the pretty village of Newton upon Derwent, close to both York and Pocklington. The Half Moon is constantly evolving but always sticks to the basic philosophy of offering great service and excellent food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
